There was only one bid submitted for the purchase of the former senior center facility on East Clinton Street in Napoleon. Henry County Commissioners opened that bid Tuesday late afternoon, and it was submitted by JustBusch Investments for $60,000. Steve and Julie Busch are planning to turn the former senior center into an Armory Annex, to host smaller events than the larger Armory Arts and Events Center.
The Henry County Commissioners approved a draw from state funds to pay for local home rehabilitations in Holgate, Wauseon, Delta and Liberty Center, totaling over $111,400.
And a date has been set for walk-through viewing of Countryview Haven, as part of the bidding for demolition of the structure. It will be held on Thursday, September 6th at 2pm. The bid opening for the demolition is set for September 20th at 10am in the office of Henry County Commissioners.
