There is just a small list of local candidates running for office in the general election this fall in Henry County. There are three candidates for county commissioner: Incumbent Republican-Thomas VonDeylen, Democrat-Penny Snodgrass, and Independent candidate-Eric Norden.
Kevin Garringer is running un-opposed for Henry County Auditor.
In the race for 81st state representative, the candidates include incumbent Republican James Hoops, and Democrat- Janet Brenneman.
In the first senate district, incumbent Republican Robert McColley is facing Democrat Adam Papin of Bryan.
And the 5th district congressional race features incumbent Republican Bob Latta, going against Democrat J. Michael Galbraith of Maumee.
