A jury trial was held in Henry County Common Pleas Court recently for a Ridgeville Corners man that was indicted and charged with Felonious Assault. After testimony and evidence was presented in the trial, the Henry County jury found 27 year old Samuel Heilman of Ridgeville Corners ‘not guilty’ of the charge. Heilman was released.
In another case, 33 year old Rodney Polanskey, Sr. of Toledo pled guilty to Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity, and Failure to Comply with an officer. Polanskey was sentenced to a total of 4 years in prison, and was ordered to pay restitution of nearly $31,000.
And 37 year old Crystal Pearce of Malinta pled guilty to Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle. Pearce was placed on community control for two years, and was ordered to spend 30 days at the regional jail.
