An Ayersville senior is this year’s BGSU ‘stand-out student of the year’ on I-Heart Radio. Brooklyn Bowen was selected for the honor, after a busy year at Ayersville that included two trips to Haiti to help children in an orphanage, along with serving as a DARE program mentor. Brooklyn’s future plans include Trine University in Angola, Indiana this fall, planning on a double major in elementary and special education.
