There’s good news out of the gate in the city of Defiance when it comes to the income tax. Finance Director John Lenner reports income tax revenues are running 5% ahead of last year’s pace through the month of April. That means about $192,000 more dollars have come-in so far in 2018. The full financial report for the first four months of the year will be presented to Defiance City Council next Tuesday.
