The Defiance County Grand Jury indicted 11 persons after cases were presented by prosecuting attorney Morris Murray. The indictments include 19 year old Keith McClure, Jr. of Maumee, on felony charges of Rape, and two counts of Sexual Battery. The alleged rape occurred March 19th in the area of Webster and Grand Avenue in Defiance.
28 year old Brenton Clements of Defiance was indicted for Escape and Violating a Protection Order.
29 year old Elliot Simmons of Defiance was indicted for Domestic Violence and Endangering Children.
And 38 year old Julie Arps of Defiance was indicted for Theft from a person in a Protected Class.
