Early voting for the primary election this year in Ohio is already underway. A half-dozen or so residents cast their ballot in person at the Henry County Board of Elections on the first day allowed, and another 26 absentee ballot requests were filed by mail. In Defiance County about ten voters cast their ballot in-person, while another 46 requests for absentee ballots were filed. Local Boards of Election are open until 5pm each day, Monday through Friday for early voting in-person, and will be for the next three weeks. More extended hours for voting will be announced as the primary election day approaches on May 8th.
