A truck driver from Cleveland suffered a medical condition while operating his rig in Defiance just before 8am this (Tues.) morning, causing an accident that sent both drivers to the hospital. The highway patrol investigated the crash at 7:51am on state route 15 just north of U.S. 24. 37 year old Dorian McDaniel suffered the medical condition, and his truck went left of center, striking an oncoming auto driven by 61 year old Susan Kearney (carney) of Napoleon. Kearney was transported to Defiance Mercy Hospital with minor injuries; and was released. Dorian McDaniel was taken to Defiance Regional Hospital where he died of the suspected medical issue.
