An arraignment was held this week in Napoleon Municipal Court for 26 year old Samuel Heilman of Ridgeville Corners, facing a charge of Felonious Assault. Heilman was released on his own recognizance; and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing tomorrow.
In Defiance County Common Pleas Court, 49 year old Lora Derrow of Ft. Wayne was convicted of Illegal Assembly or Possession of Chemicals for the Manufacture of Drugs. Derrow was also found guilty of Endangering Children and Theft. Prosecuting Attorney Morris Murray reports Derrow was sentenced to a total prison term of 54 months.
