Tom Cruise's Fly Is Open At “Mission Impossible: Fallout” Tokyo Premiere

It would be fair to say that Tom Cruise’s character in Mission Impossible: Fallout, Ethan Hunt, could be described as unflappable.

However, in an ironic twist on that description (and even the movie title FALLOUT) Tom popped up (oops, sorry) at the Tokyo premiere of his latest movie, with his pants unzipped.

Tom didn't seem to notice, just smiling and waving at fans with his shirt appearing from the out of his fly (thankfully nothing else,) before heading into the press conference. Looks like someone finally noticed and alerted Tom, because by the time he made it to the stage for the presser, he had a chance to tuck and zip. All good. [You can see the brief embarrassment here]

Can’t tell here, but from the look of the fans, no one seemed to care, or even notice.

And as Tom made it to the stage with the rest of the cast he had his fly under control.

Quite ironic, given the way most of us were introduced to Tom 36 years ago.
