A new company is looking at Holgate, and village council has approved the sale of some additional acreage for their expansion in the town’s industrial park.  Ohio Rotational Molding has purchased the former Holgate Products facility, and will now be acquiring 3.5 acres of land adjacent to the plant.  Holgate Council approved the property sale at $12,000.

There was discussion about a pay-raise for council members, but the proposal died for lack of a motion.

And Holgate Council set the date for the village fall clean-up, it will be September 25th through 27th, from 8:30am till 8pm those days, with drop-off at the old swimming pool parking lot.
