Danielle Fishel has a helpful friend in her fellow Girl Meets World alum Sabrina Carpenter.
The Boy Meets World actress, 44, recently spoke to People about her relationship with the "House Tour" singer, 26, and how Carpenter has become one of the people Fishel goes to for "great advice."
"For being significantly younger than me, she is one of my go-to people to ask for advice because she's got real instincts," she said. "She knows to trust them, and I admire that so much because I'm a person who's talked myself out of my instincts over the years."
The Pod Meets World podcast host added that the "Espresso" singer is a "special" person because she helps remind her to follow her own instincts when she second guesses herself.
"So, whenever I really need to be reminded that I probably know the answer to the question, I go to her. She's like, 'I think you probably already know this,'" she said. "She's a real special one."
The pair have maintained a connection since their show Girl Meets World ended in 2017 after three seasons, sharing support for each other on social media. Carpenter was even a bridesmaid in Fishel's 2018 wedding to husband Jensen Karp. Fishel gushed over her costar's success in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in January 2025, explaining how she was "thrilled" that others were finally recognizing her talent.
"It was also never something I doubted from the moment I met her. Her work ethic, her drive, her personality, her comedic skills, her sensitivity, her ability to communicate, all of the things that she has had since she was a child, everyone is getting to see and experience a little bit of the Sabrina that I've known now for over 10 years," she said, adding, "She deserves every good thing that comes to her."
