A blaze that ignited in a home in Delta has taken the life of the occupant.The Delta fire department responded to the house in the 600 block of Maplewood Street around 7:30 this (Fri.) morning.An adult male was found dead inside, the only resident living in the home.The cause of the fire is still undetermined and there was extensive damage to the structure.The Wauseon fire department provided mutual aid, and Metamora sent an EMS unit to the scene.Crews were on the scene for several hours, and the identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of family members.
