Security experts say Twitter deleted tweets and other data important to federal investigators looking into Russian meddling in last year's election. "Politico" reports the tweets and data were deleted in the course of Twitter's standard and aggressive policies protecting users' information.
Federal investigators believe Twitter was one of the most powerful weapons Russia used in hurting Hillary Clinton's campaign for the White House while trying to help Donald Trump.
