A weekend shooting in Defiance has left one victim dead, and another in serious condition.Defiance Police were dispatched to an incident Saturday around 2pm at 520 East Second Street.While responding a gunshot was heard, and a female subject was found downstairs.A male subject was also found at the scene, and was determined to be deceased, of an apparent self-inflicted gun shot.The male victim is 30 year old John Ruark, III of Defiance.The female subject was transported by air ambulance to a Toledo Hospital, and was identified as 28 year old Becky Clifford of Defiance.Becky Clifford is now listed in stable condition.
Police report both John Ruark and Becky Clifford lived at the East Second Street residence.
